We suggest you store your Wolfspout shades in the cloth case provided to protect them from everyday wear and tear. If they’re in need of a deep clean, we recommend using a microfiber cloth designed for cleaning eyewear, and spot cleaning with a mild soap and water as needed.
What is cellulose acetate? In contrast to plastics and other petroleum-based materials, cellulose acetate is a natural material produced using wood pulp, and is lightweight enough for comfortable wear while still being highly durable.

We are woman-owned, produce in small-batch quantities, and ethically source all of our frames. All of our packaging is also plastic free. We are in the process of joining 1% for the planet, and becoming climate neutral as well. All of our lenses have the highest quality UVA and UVB protection rating of 100%.
What does Wolfspout mean? Wolfspout is that magical feeling you get when you stand where the land meets the sea. It’s a little compound word we fell in love with, and the “Wolf” stands for earth and terra firma, while the “spout” evokes the salty splash of a stream of water.
Born of two brains, Wolfspout is the creation of Danielle McWaters and Lauren Meeker. We’re two friends who live in different places (both where forests meet the ocean) with different styles and hopes and dreams and fashion needs and yet all had the same humble challenge - we wanted sunglasses that just looked different than those same styles we were seeing everywhere.
